Webinar: IDEA’s Harmonized Data Model—Positioning the Electrical Industry for Success

Date: Thursday, October 20, 2022
Time: 11:00 AM ET / 10:00 AM CT / 8:00 AM PT / 3:00 PM GMT

Summary

Find out what happens when distributors get clean and efficient product data in the format they need and can be used immediately. The amount of time and resources spent manipulating and correcting data downstream is staggering. Likewise, manufacturers are spinning their wheels trying to provide data in many formats to their distributors.

IDEA’s Harmonized Data Model (HDM) enables manufacturers to gain efficiencies by having a single source of product data to feed multiple syndication formats. Harmonizing data transforms incomplete and inaccurate data into usable information.

In this webinar, hear from thought leader, Denise Keating, and data standards expert, Angela Baraks. You’ll learn how data standards fit into the HDM, the difference between normalization and harmonization, and how harmonized data makes it easier to compete in today’s digital landscape. The HDM initiative is underway with dozens of companies participating. You won’t want to miss it.
